C60 in Australia: what it is and how we use it

Papilio is an Australian family business, started in 2018. We make two C60 skincare oils for face and body, made in Australia.

What is C60?

C60 (fullerene) is a carbon molecule made of 60 atoms. The atoms are arranged in a round, hollow cage of 20 hexagons and 12 pentagons, the same pattern you see on a soccer ball. That's why it's sometimes called a "buckyball".

How our C60 is made

Our C60 is 99.9+% pure and solvent-free. It's blended into organic Australian olive oil and bottled here in Australia.

How we use it

C60 Original is just two ingredients: 99.9+% pure C60 and organic Australian extra virgin olive oil. It's a face and body oil that moisturises skin, helps protect it from dryness and leaves it feeling soft and comfortable, not greasy.

Integrative Facial Serum is a nightly botanical facial oil. It blends 99.9+% pure C60 with organic olive, argan, jojoba and rosehip oils, natural vitamin E, and rose, ylang ylang and frankincense essential oils. It leaves skin soft and moisturised with a dewy, radiant look.

Both come in 30 ml bottles and are for external use only.

Apply a few drops to clean skin. Our products are cosmetics, for external use only.

Why olive oil?

C60 is blended into an oil to make it easy to apply. We use organic Australian extra virgin olive oil because it's simple and moisturising.
